I should like to put in writing my thanks for the superbly thorough Homebuyer’s Survey that you produced for me, indeed for the outstanding service that you have provided from our first contact.

It was a pleasure to meet you on site before you started your survey.  I was immediately impressed by your passion for “building pathology” and the painstaking attention to detail with which you approached the survey a humble 1950’s maisonette in decidedly inclement weather.  Your thoroughness was fully reflected in your detailed 26 page report, packed with useful comments and advice about where further  technical investigations might be warranted (such as a structural engineer’s report on the cracks in the garage block) and tips about avoiding problems in the future.  You had obviously done much research into such factors as geology and flood risk, as well the state of the market in  the area in order to come to a reliable valuation.

You have given us confidence that, if we can negotiate some reduction in price based on the faults you have documented, we are unlikely to discover any unexpected horrors after we move in.

I would strongly recommend you to anyone else looking for a thorough survey. Please feel free to pass my phone number to potential clients.
